DAB products available in many shops in Singapore that include
hi-fi tuner, portable as well as in-car receivers, and macro-systems.

here more than 6 years ago. The cheapest DAB car radio now
costs less than S$600 compared to S$4,000 back in 1999.
The most affordable model in Singapore costs less than S$170.
DAB penetration in Singapore has experienced an exponential
growth over the past three years since 2003 with a record
growth of 82% in 2005. The numbers of local DAB retailers
have also been growing steadily over the past three years.
DAB receivers are now sold in the major shopping districts,
for example, along Orchard Road such as Tangs' Technobay,
Paragon, Courts, Best Denki and Harvey Norman, just to name
a few. It is no longer confined to the specialist hi-fi
shops such as The Adelphi and Sim Lim Square.
