Optimize Your Listening Experience.. Go DIGITAL. |
|
Radio is a great source of information and entertainment and in these days of subscription channels and pay per view, it is pleasing to know that some of the best things in life are still free. It’s a pity that many people choose to access this exciting world through a few dollars transistor radio speaker, putting up with mediocre results during the many hours they spend listening to the radio. You will be amazed by how much more enjoyment you will have if you’re listening radio program using DAB radio. Digital Radio (DAB) offers you optimum listening experience with an utterly silent background, an end to confusing frequencies and a choice of digital only stations.

Did You Know That…
You can receive Singapore Civil Defence Force's (SCDF) Public Warning System (PWS) warning messages on Digital Radio?
During SCDF's monthly testing of the PWS warning siren, a text message is also transmitted simultaneously on Digital Radio's Dynamic Segment Label (DLS) service and broadcast island-wide. DLS service enables SCDF to disseminate PWS related and other messages to all DAB radios when the need arises.
DLS, one of Digital Radio data services, is a scrolling text message that appears across the LCD screen that is available on all DAB radios. Besides transmitting SCDF's PWS messages, it also carries many useful info like synchronized song titles & artist name, traffic situations, weather conditions, ads & promo, etc. Because of its free-to-air broadcast nature, messages can be reliably delivered as it is not subjected to any network bottleneck's condition.
